Raid Purpose

Top of the Hueco Castle Raid is the entry point for Moonless Sky—the Boundless headline unit of Update 4.0. The raid drops Secret-rarity Ichiko, which you evolve twice through Ichiko (Rage) to reach the final Moonless Sky form. No banner pull can shortcut this chain; raid farming is mandatory.

The raid also feeds the Raid Shop where Hollow Essence sells for 800 Spirit Souls each—you need two total across both evolution steps.

Ichiko to Moonless Sky Evolution Chain

Step one: Ichiko → Ichiko (Rage) requires 3 Universal Fragments, 6 Burning Fragments, 3 Holy Fragments, 1 Hollow Essence, and 3 Phantom Fragments. Step two: Ichiko (Rage) → Moonless Sky needs 5 Universal Fragments, 1 Boundless Orb, 6 Holy Fragments, 1 Hollow Essence, 1 Moonless Blade, and 12 Phantom Fragments.

The Moonless Blade drops from the Moonless Sky Universal Tear at a 10% rate—budget multiple Tear runs. UTDZApologyForBugs! grants a free Boundless Orb, saving significant grind on step two.

Recommended Team

Bring AoE for add waves and single-target burst for the Hueco Castle boss phases. Virtual Idol is mandatory for damage scaling. Units with Bleach or Hollow synergy tags perform well if your roster includes them.

After obtaining Moonless Sky, run the Universal Tear for duplicate Moonless Blades only if you plan to equip alts—one blade suffices for the evolution.
