His kit centers on burst damage, critical scaling, and Final Moon Fang—a transformation that grants +250% damage, +50% crit rate, and +250% crit damage before a 650% nuke.

Community clears show 10M+ solo damage on fully built Moonless Sky with Ruler trait and Shadow Reaper relics. He replaces or rivals Joyful Captain as primary hill carry in Story, Infinite, and Reaper City content.

Phase 1: Farm Secret Ichiko from Top of the Hueco Castle Raid. Phase 2: Evolve to Ichiko (Rage) with 3 Universal, 6 Burning, 3 Holy, 1 Hollow Essence, 3 Phantom Fragments. Phase 3: Farm Moonless Blade from Moonless Sky Universal Tear (10% drop). Phase 4: Evolve to Moonless Sky with 5 Universal, 1 Boundless Orb, 6 Holy, 1 Hollow Essence, 1 Moonless Blade, 12 Phantom Fragments.

Best Build — Trait, Relics, Stats

Trait: Ruler (+200% damage, one per team). Relics: full Shadow Reaper set—Damage on Top and Bottom, Elemental Damage on Necklace. Stat allocation: all points into Damage. Substats priority: SPA, Critical Damage, Critical Rate, then additional Damage.

Save Final Moon Fang for boss waves and final Infinite pushes—the 200-second cooldown means timing matters more than spamming. Pair with Virtual Idol and a second AoE DPS for add control.

Team Synergy

Moonless Sky thrives in Peroxide-buffed Reaper City stages and standard Story/Infinite setups. Heaven Piercer relic set (surround-buff synergy) is an alternative for formation-heavy teams. Do not run two Ruler units—allocate Ruler exclusively to Moonless Sky if he is your primary carry.
